Pangasius, Batashi, Pabda, Dhshi, Puti,
Tengra, Baila, Hilsha etc.
Makrele ist ein fett- und
ölreicher Fisch und daher ein ausgezeichneter
Lieferant von Omega 3 Fettsäuren, die
nachweislich das Risiko von Herzerkrankungen und
anderen Krankheiten reduzieren. Wie Thunfisch
oder Austern ist sie auch eine hervorragende
Quelle von Selen, das Bestandteil eine wichtigen
Antioxidans ist, das in jeder Körperzelle
vorkommt. Makrelen liefern auch reichlich
Vitamin B12. Die äußeren Schichten der Fische
sind rötlich, das innere Fleisch ist dagegen
heller. Das Verhältnis von rotem und hellem
Fleisch hängt von der Art ab, genauso übrigens
wie der Fettanteil.

flavor and these fish have a better
texture than low-fat fish which tend
